Using this site, HVACR technicians can access the full offering of Emerson distance learning courses, encompassing dozens of titles in both online and CD-based formats. The portal also allows them to sign up for instructor-led Emerson courses that are offered at locations throughout the United States.
“The new Emerson Online Training Portal makes it simple to sign up and participate in some of the best HVACR training available today,” said Larry Banas, director of Emerson Educational Services. “But quick and easy access to courses is only the beginning.”
In addition to offering course registration and hosting online courses, the site also provides users with their own “dashboard” that allows them to track the course or courses they are taking or have completed, their performance, credits they’ve achieved, and more. The new website also contains a variety of free reference materials including technical bulletins and other literature, instructional videos, and reference software that can help contractors and technicians improve their productivity and efficiency.
The portal is also fully compatible with mobile devices including smartphones and tablets, Banas noted.
“Technicians can now access their training and reference portal from almost anywhere, and keep track of their professional accreditation and training whenever it is most convenient for them,” said Banas. “Plus, with the wide range of free technical reference material and online courses, they can actively improve their performance and take part in valuable training on a schedule that is completely of their own choosing.”
Emerson Educational Services delivers comprehensive training programs that cover a range of HVACR topics including refrigeration fundamentals and principles, as well as critical service and technical skills. In addition, the portal offers access to in-depth and up-to-date technical training on advanced Emerson HVACR products and technologies.
Emerson Educational Services is an authorized provider of the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), a nonprofit organization devoted to quality continuing education and training programs. Many Emerson courses are accredited by North American Technician Excellence (NATE).
