EASTON, Pa. — Follett Corp. has announced that all 7 Series ice-only dispensers, with integral air-cooled ice machine producing up to 125 pounds (56.7 kg) of Chewblet® ice daily, are now Energy Star® qualified.

The 7 Series ice-only dispenser comes in countertop, undercounter, and freestanding models. Standard features include:

• Compact – 17.5 inches (445 mm) tall to fit on counters, under cabinets.

• Drainless – Unit can be placed anywhere.

• Sanitary – Hands-free ice dispensing to minimize cross contamination.

• Efficient – Designed for low energy and water usage.

• Antimicrobial – Agion® antimicrobial treatment of critical components to minimize microbial growth.

Follett notes that only ice-only 7 Series dispensers are eligible for Energy Star certification since at this time Energy Star does not have a product specification for ice and water dispensers.
