NEW YORK — AGRION is hosting its second annual Energy & Sustainability Summit in New York City on Feb. 5-6, 2014 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Dubbed Disrupt 100+, it will bring together leaders in energy, infrastructure, and sustainability. The event will feature over 75 speakers, dozens of exhibitors, and be attended by representatives from over 600 firms to discuss issues such as the importance of increasing renewable energy, deploying corporate sustainability, and developing net zero and positive energy buildings.

With the theme of disruption, the conference will touch upon new alternative financing mechanisms for renewable energy and energy efficiency, disruptive technologies and energy business frameworks for transactive energy, and ways to deploy corporate sustainability strategies across different industries.

The summit will showcase over 100 of the most promising startups in the energy and sustainability sectors, feature panel discussions with industry thought leaders, as well as offer tours and an interactive technology exposition. Conference attendees will also get the opportunity to network with other industry experts.

“Our Disrupt 100+ conference not only serves as an educational tool for firms, but it is also an arena for thought-leaders to network and coordinate future projects together, such as our NY Energy Storage Initiative. Clean, smart energy can make cities and businesses more resilient, and our aim is to showcase these leading technologies to move us in that direction,” said Nicholas J. Davis, managing director of AGRION Americas.
