Reinders said, “I’ve been described as a tree-hugging capitalist and have always been on the forefront of energy and energy management technologies. I am deeply appreciative of this opportunity to serve on the USGBC board and have proudly accepted the appointment to fill the Technology seat. I look forward to using my experience in identifying opportunities where people, companies, and technologies can be integrated into a sustainable value proposition that improves the built environment. I feel privileged for the opportunity and intend to be very active in helping guide the USGBC to achieve their goals.”
Reinders brings nearly 30 years of experience to the board. Prior to joining Telkonet, he was vice president of sales at Energy Focus Inc. Before that he was with Johnson Controls, most recently as director of global energy and sustainability programs.
