Del Beutler, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Dec. 21, 2013. Beutler was born June 10, 1920, in Mountpelier, Idaho, and moved to Sacramento, Calif., as a young boy. In 1940, he married his beloved wife Norma Dorothy “Doady” Dickson and was married 49 years. They had two children, Gary and Judy. Beutler was active in the U.S. Navy from 1944-46, working as an aviation metalsmith repairing airplanes at Twenty-Nine Palms Military Base in California.

In 1947, Beutler started Beutler Sheet Metal, which evolved into Beutler Corp., and is currently headquartered in McClellan, Calif.

He was a member of the Masonic Order, becoming a 33rd Degree Mason. Beutler loved to golf and was a member of North Ridge Country Club for many years. He and Dorothy loved to travel, take cruises, and were avid bowlers.

He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter Judy Seibert. He is survived by his son Gary Beutler (Marcia); and his grandchildren Mark Beutler (Michelle), Anita Toner (Rod), Jim and Robbie Seibert, and Jenny Beutler; his great-grandchildren, Gary, Tatum, Olivia Toner, Joel and Jacob Siebert, Deke Beutler, and Justin and Jordan Savage.
