The 870 Series thermal imagers are available in two models: 870-1 without visual camera and 870-2 with integrated visual camera. They have a 34-by-26-degree lens. The focal-plane array (FPA) operates at a 160-by-120 resolution or 19,200 pixels, which is upgradeable to 320-by-240 resolution (76,800 pixels) with the SuperResolution option. Features include automatic and precision manual scale control; internal storage of 2,000 images; temperature range of -4° to 536°F; and easy, one-button control. The series allows for easy and safe thermal inspections in many thermography applications. The thermal images are displayed in real time on a large 3.5-inch LCD view screen. Critical center temperature and automatic hot and cold spot detection can be displayed directly on the view screen. Detailed image analyses and reports can be performed on any Windows PC using the IRSoft analysis software supplied with each imager.
