An HVAC drive, the FRENIC-HVAC has been added to the company’s portfolio of low-voltage inverters. The drive features a slim, space-saving design, real-time clock, embedded BACnet, and all other functions required to independently operate fans and pumps in air conditioning equipment. It was designed for both UL Type 1 and Type 12 installation environments. It features an input interface that includes temperature sensors and controllers, torque vector control, removable keypad, fire mode, filter-clogging prevention functions, and four proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controls that monitor the external environments particular to
air conditioning.
