The G-Series ½-6 horsepower (hp) outdoor condensing unit has been added to the company’s line of outdoor condensing unit products. Featuring a new cabinet design optimized to incorporate the innovative microchannel condenser coil, in conjunction with efficient scroll compressor technology, the new condensing unit series enhances serviceability while delivering operational efficiency gains for the end user. According to the manufacturer, the lower pricing structure on scroll compressor units delivers a quicker return on an end user’s investment in a quality refrigeration condensing unit. Features include multitemperature-, multirefrigerant-capable scroll compressors; an 8-plus percent smaller unit footprint with a 50-plus percent larger electrical box; and microchannel condenser coils standard on each unit. The new design allows for greater serviceability to reduce installation and maintenance time of integral components.
