Course Description: This two-day Carrier University class targets building professionals with zero to three years of experience who want to expand their knowledge of HVAC systems, learn proper applications, and how to achieve high-performance operation. The class starts with an explanation of the environmental conditions which influence comfort and how HVAC systems control these conditions. Participants learn about the design process and criteria for system selection. The class evaluates more than 15 types of HVAC systems, describing how the systems work, applications, and basic advantages and shortcomings. Continuing education unit (CEU) credit may be obtained for this course at specific training locations and on specific training dates. Confirm CEU credit with the training coordinator at time of payment.
