The company’s mixing valve line is increasing from six to 65 SKUs. The valves are available in lead-free alloys with tamper-resistant caps, and sweat, Nation Pipe Thread (NPT), Pex, or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) union connections. All feature low head loss with an outlet temperature strip and optional dial gauge with adaptor fitting. Use of a mixing valve allows for domestic hot water storage at temperatures high enough to increase the effective storage capacity of a water heater, kill harmful bacteria, and still be delivered at a safe 120?F or less, said the company. The versatile 5000 Series is NSF 61- and ASSE 1017-certified, making it ideal for installation at domestic water distribution points. The 5120 Series is NSF 61-, ASSE 1017-, and ASSE 1070-certified, making it applicable for point of use applications within homes, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, or public facilities. For installations where higher flow rate is needed, the High Flow 5120 Series is an ideal solution. The 5123-WH valve easily mounts directly to a water heater and is NSF 61-, ASSE 1017-, and ASSE 1070-certified.
