BRANCHBURG, N.J. — Sander Mechanical Service announced that it has been selected by Siemens Building Technologies as an authorized Siemens Solution Partner. The agreement enables the New Jersey-based mechanical contractor to offer the Talon® building control system and other Siemens technologies to its customer base.
The Siemens Talon platform is an open-protocol building management system (BMS) that utilizes the Tridium Niagara Framework to integrate HVAC and building automation controls (including LonMark, BACnet, and Modbus devices) into a single end-to-end solution. The platform enables facility managers to monitor and control a wide range of building systems, all from a web-based user interface on any PC, tablet, or mobile device.
Sander Mechanical’s president, Bob Bittel, said, “We are very excited about how this alliance will benefit new and existing clients by improving our ability to deliver comprehensive, cost-effective solutions from an industry leading name.” In addition to Talon, the relationship also gives Sander access to Siemens’ full line of HVAC valves, actuators, sensors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Ryan Schlotfeldt, business development manager at Siemens, said, “We are confident that having Sander Mechanical as a Siemens Solution Partner will be a ‘win-win’ that effectively increases sales and revenues for both companies, while benefitting New Jersey customers by bringing them the most intelligent and robust building solutions on the market.”
