PHOENIX — Kenneth D. Goodrich, managing partner of Tucson Peach LLC and Goettl Air Conditioning, announced that Tucson Peach has acquired Phoenix-based HVAC contractor Sonoran Air. The company will operate under the new name Sonoran Air Conditioning.
Sonoran Air has specialized in the installation of air conditioning systems for new residential and commercial construction projects, as well as replacement and maintenance. To help strengthen its growth opportunities, Sonoran Air began a search for a strategic partner and joined forces with Goodrich.
Goodrich has more than 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry, creating, acquiring, and growing several successful companies throughout the Western region. With Goettl, he strengthened a marketing and referral relationship for more than a year with Sonoran, which eventually led to this acquisition.
“We are pleased to bring Sonoran into our group of companies,” Goodrich said. “This acquisition extends our vision of providing a full spectrum of residential and commercial mechanical services in the Southwest, including new construction, service and maintenance, remodels and replacement. The Sonoran team members are the experts in extreme climate HVAC solutions.”
Sonoran Air Conditioning will operate under its own HVAC contractor’s license, and Sonoran Air employees are currently transitioning to Sonoran Air Conditioning. Greg Cobb, the president of Sonoran Air, will take on the role of president of Sonoran Air Conditioning.
“We look forward to continuing our mission of being the leading HVAC contractor in Arizona,” Cobb said. “By partnering with Ken Goodrich and Tucson Peach, we are leveraging our partnership to expand our scope of services and the markets we serve, as well as provide more jobs for our community and career opportunities for our team members.”
Goodrich’s companies include Goettl Air Conditioning and The Sunny Plumber. For more information, visit www.goettl.com.
