Armstrong Air has introduced the A962V gas furnace, an upgrade of the A952V model. The new A962V is compatible with Armstrong Air’s Comfort Sync thermostat. For dealers, Comfort Sync features auto-commissioning and guided setup for more accurate installations. The A962V delivers an increase in efficiency to help homeowners qualify for local utility programs. The A962V features a variable-speed blower that changes the speed of airflow during operation and adjusts humidity levels, creating more even temperatures throughout the home. Two-stage heating delivers adjustable heat output based on conditions inside and outside the home to reduce operating sound and maintain consistent comfort. Like all Armstrong Air furnaces, the A296V is engineered and built with EHX™ Technology and Quiet Combustion technology. EHX technology features a patented design that eliminates the hot spots that can shorten furnace life. Additionally, it makes heat exchangers more durable, and, with its advanced airflow system, allows more air contact with the heat exchanger surface area for greater heat exchange. Quiet Combustion™ Technology uses a smaller Btu input per burner for quieter startup and operation while providing more even heat distribution.
