RICHARDSON, Texas — EnTouch Controls, a leading provider of energy management solutions, announced that it has been awarded the EDGE Environmental Award from the Richardson Economic Development Partnership (REDP).
The award acknowledges the beneficial impact of the company’s EnTouch 360° service and the positive effect it has on significantly reducing energy consumption for business.
Award organizers cited the company’s ongoing work with enterprise businesses, many of which are based in North Texas, including JC Penney, Corner Bakery, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Pizza Hut, and others. Specifically, Pizza Hut, in an effort to significantly reduce its energy costs, named EnTouch 360° as its official energy management solution. The company is systematically implementing the system across its 500 corporate restaurants and its nearly 6,000 domestic franchise restaurants.
EnTouch was one of eight technology-focused businesses that were recognized at this year’s EDGE awards luncheon for the company’s positive impact on business and the North Texas community as a whole. EDGE is REDP’s economic development growth and expansion initiative. Each year, REDP, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, and the Richardson Rotary Clubs recognize leading companies and organizations that have achieved extraordinary success and/or made a significant investment in Richardson, Texas.
“The EDGE Award is a long-standing and prestigious prize in the technology community of North Texas and their selection of EnTouch validates our ongoing efforts to assist enterprise businesses by significantly reducing energy usage, positively impacting the environment, and improving a business’ overall bottom-line revenues,” said Greg Fasullo, EnTouch Controls president and chief executive officer.
