Mitsubishi Electric celebrated at the AHR Expo in style Monday night at The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. More than 600 people registered for the event, well above average attendance for previous years, according to Kevin Miskewicz, senior manager, commercial marketing, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division.

The theme of the evening was ‘Makers of Amazing,’ which featured signage showcasing Mitsubishi products around the museum. The night included Chicago-style favorites such as pizza, hot dogs, and more. A blues band entertained guests as they networked with peers among some of the museum’s most popular exhibits.

“Really, the core of the event is showcasing some of our innovations through the signage that we have, but also thanking folks in the industry,” Miskewicz said. “And we thought we have a wonderful customer base, we have a wonderful distributor base, and they’re good to us throughout the year, so we want to show our appreciation to them. That’s really what the event is all about.

“It’s been a very well registered event,” he continued.  “There’s a lot of excitement around it too. It’s a good opportunity for these guys to mingle with their peers, see the sales folks they call on them on a daily basis, and get in front of them in a social setting.”
