NORWELL, Mass., and CHICAGO — Bluestone Energy Services LLC, a provider of energy conservation engineering and project development services, announced that it is strengthening its existing partnership with The Global Green Team in 2015 after continued success throughout the Midwest market. The Global Green Team, based in Chicago, leads businesses through sustainable cost reduction initiatives, resulting in positive effects for both the businesses’ operations and the environment as a whole.
The Global Green Team, led by Rob Golden and George Lauber, has leveraged Bluestone’s experience designing and implementing custom energy efficiency projects nationwide to deliver to their customers a number of benefits, including carbon footprint reduction, qualification for utility incentives and tax benefits, and significant energy reduction at their facilities.
“The Global Green Team looks forward to greatly expanding our partnership with Bluestone Energy Services, enabling increased energy efficiency across an array of sectors throughout the Midwest,” said Rob Golden, president of The Global Green Team.
The six-year collaboration between these two firms has resulted in a number of successful energy efficiency projects for customers, such as Molex and Ingalls Memorial Hospital, with significant results. Since the inception of the partnership, Bluestone and The Global Green Team said they have reduced energy use for their customers by over 21 million kWh in aggregate, resulting in savings in excess of $1.5 million. As a technical service provider for Commonwealth Edison, Bluestone was able to secure over $280,000 in utility incentives for ComEd customers in 2014.
