SALT LAKE CITY — Vivint, a leading provider of smart home technology, announced that CEO Todd Pedersen will be featured on the season finale of CBS’s TV series “Undercover Boss,” Friday, Feb. 20 (8 to 9 p.m., ET/PT).
Under the guise of a video store owner from Bend, Oregon, Pedersen worked with employees across several areas of the business, including the company’s 24/7 monitoring station, wireless Internet division, field services department, and a Vivint Solar warehouse. Vivint provides smart home solutions, including home automation and energy management.
“Going undercover was such an incredible experience that I actually didn’t want it to end,” said Pedersen. “Working alongside my employees gave me the opportunity to see first-hand why Vivint is such a successful company. We have grown exponentially in the past 14 years, and I want to make sure our employees understand how critical they are to our business.”
Undercover Boss is in its sixth season and is a two-time Emmy Award-winning reality series that follows high-level executives as they slip anonymously into the rank-and-file of their own organizations. Each week, a different leader leaves his or her corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of the company’s operations.
Tune in to the season finale to witness the experiences of Pedersen and his employees.
