ARLINGTON, Va. — To better understand the supply of and demand for new technicians, the HVACR Workforce Development Foundation is undertaking a labor analysis study in the U.S. and Canada. As part of the study, the organization is asking industry educators to take a short online survey, which includes questions about their educational institutes, program enrollment numbers, employment, recruitment, and professional development.
The survey is intended for HVACR instructors/educators and administrators and takes 10-15 minutes to complete. Those who share their contact information at the end of the survey will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift card.
“Your input is important to the HVACR Workforce Development Foundation,” said Kari Arfstrom, executive director, HVACR Workforce Development Foundation. “Your responses will help improve the connection between your important work in the classroom and the needs of the industry.”
The NEWS will examine the results of this survey later this year. The survey is open to all industry educators, and responses are due by April 15. To complete the survey, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/HVACRsurvey.
