MINNEAPOLIS — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) announced that the company has created a two-way driver for Cool Automation’s CoolMasterNet and CooLinkNet universal HVAC bridges. The new control solution allows integration and communication with major HVAC systems based on variable refrigerant volume or variable refrigerant flow (VRV/VRF) inverter technologies — optimizing the installation process by eliminating the need to set up complex communication protocols.
“Integrating with RTI’s automation ecosystem takes the simplicity of our CoolMasterNet technology to an entirely new level,” said Igor Mitbarg, CEO, Cool Automation. “Now integrators can easily add control of major brands of VRV/VRF and split HVACs, such as Daikin, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and LG, which are notoriously challenging to integrate. In addition to seamless control of lighting, window fixtures, security, and more, users can now gain full control of their HVAC systems including all essential parameters, like set temperature and operation mode.”
The CoolMasterNet/CooLinkNet two-way driver enables control and feedback via RTI’s line of control interfaces, as well as the company’s RTiPanel app for Apple® and Android™ devices. The solution offers control of up to 256 thermostats by providers such as Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Hitachi, LG, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and more. Developed for temperature control requirements within extensive residential or commercial settings, the solution can be connected over network (TCP) or serial port and provides access to thermostat controls, feedback, and list settings.
“Our newest Cool Automation driver provides RTI dealers with an incredibly innovative solution for large HVAC systems in residential and commercial applications,” said Scott Kelley, vice president of sales and marketing, RTI. “With just one device by Cool Automation and a single driver by RTI, dealers have the ability to control any number of advanced climate systems — adding enormous flexibility and simplicity to their control offerings.”
The CoolMasterNet/CooLinkNet two-way driver is available to RTI dealers on the company’s website at www.rticorp.com in the Driver Store.
