CRANE, Ind.— The Naval Facilities Engineering Command has awarded Commercial Service of Bloomington Inc., Bloomington, Indiana; Custom Mechanical Systems Corp., Bargersville, Indiana; Harrell Contracting Inc., Worthington, Indiana; Mastercraft Mechanical Contractors Inc., Bloomington, Indiana; and Siemens Government Technologies Inc., Arlington, Virginia, each with an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for mechanical construction projects at the Naval Support Activity Crane, in Crane, Indiana, and the Glendora Test Facility, Sullivan, Indiana. The maximum dollar value including the one-year base period and four option years for all five contracts combined is $20 million.
The work to be performed provides for all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, quality control, professional design services, and management necessary to perform various HVAC construction, renovation, and maintenance design-build or design-bid-build projects at assorted buildings and structures. Work includes but is not limited to design, general construction, alteration, repair, demolition, and work performed by special trades.
The term of the contract work is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of May 2020.
Commercial Service of Bloomington is also being awarded a $856,000 task order for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Building HVAC renovation at the Naval Support Activity Crane. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by February 2016.
