GREENWOOD, Miss. — Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. recently announced an expansion of its operations in Greenwood, Mississippi. This, along with other investments to Milwaukee Tool facilities in the state, represents a $35 million investment in Milwaukee Tool’s U.S. manufacturing operations over the last four years. The manufacturer has locations in Greenwood, Olive Branch, and Jackson, Mississippi.

“Milwaukee Tool is dedicated to driving growth and creating new jobs in the U.S.,” said Steve Richman, president, Milwaukee Tool Group. “In the last several years, we’ve created nearly 900 new jobs across the country including more than 250 in Mississippi. We firmly believe that, through investing in our people, we’ll deliver disruptive innovation and the highest quality products for our users and distribution partners.” The expansion in Greenwood will create 126 new positions, of which 105 positions have already been filled. This brings the total number employed by the company in Greenwood to 508. Milwaukee Tool employs a total of 891 workers throughout its three Mississippi locations.
