CHICAGO — Intertek has announced the launch of a global team to provide environmental and sustainability solutions. The company said the comprehensive offerings will serve a wide range of industries, including building, industrial, and more.

A centralized team will oversee Intertek’s services in several categories, including energy efficiency testing, carbon foot-printing, life cycle analysis, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and green building certifications, corporate social responsibility (CSR) consulting, sustainable packaging solutions, product certifications such as ETL Environment and the Green Leaf mark, and clean and renewable energy testing and certification. Intertek said this will improve efficiencies for customers for a more robust offering that is closely tied with all of its services.
