ST. PAUL, Minn. — Harris Companies, a leading national mechanical contractor with several locations across the country, has announced the appointment of Michel Michno as the company’s new president of construction. Michno has more than 30 years of construction industry experience.
Prior to joining Harris, Michno held a variety of leadership positions including chief operations officer, executive vice president, and managing director. His experience includes strategic planning as well as the development, implementation, and automation of advanced design and engineering systems. His management skills have helped him lead and motivate teams of more than 600 employees and manage profit and loss for business units exceeding $200 million in revenue. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech.
“Michel started working before he arrived — I’ve been impressed by his insights, ideas, and questions so early in his tenure. He has a long history within the specialty contracting industry and I look forward to the innovation and new ideas he will bring to our business,” said CEO Greg Hosch.
