Emerson Climate Technologies Inc. and ABCO® HVACR Supply + Solutions recently hosted a three-hour product training course for the Korean Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (KARA) of New York.
The training was taught in the Korean language by Robert Kim, senior product marketing manager, Emerson Climate Technologies. Based in Asia, Kim flew to the United States to teach the course, working with Emerson Educational Services to translate training materials into Korean to maximize comprehension for the 85 KARA attendees.
The training focused on the benefits the X-Line Series Copeland ScrollTM Outdoor Condensing Units for refrigeration applications offers in urban environments.
“We work closely with KARA, whose members service convenience stores, supermarkets, and delis serving a diverse population in our community,” said Fina Vicari, vice president, refrigeration sales management, ABCO HVACR Supply + Solutions. “We appreciate Emerson’s willingness to teach the course, and especially to provide the training in Korean; it just made it that much more effective.”
“We’re proud to work with companies such as ABCO to assist with customer education and understanding,” said Bob Labbett, vice president communications and channel marketing, Emerson Climate Technologies. “Providing the course in Korean through a subject matter expert such as Robert Kim, plus the impactful training materials from Emerson Educational Services, certainly amplified understanding and learning. We appreciate the opportunity to work with KARA of New York members.”
