SOMERVILLE, Mass. — ABCO HVACR Supply + Solution’s ABCO University is hosting its ninth annual Vocational Field Day on Dec. 10, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at its Somerville, Massachusetts, office and distribution center (10 First Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143, Phone 617-625-5500). All Somerville and greater Boston area high school students, guidance counselors, and teachers are invited to attend.

ABCO said the purpose of its Vocational Field Day is to teach and engage with the area’s high school educational community about the dynamic career opportunities in the HVACR industry.

“There are really great career opportunities in the HVACR field, as many of our technologies continue to quickly advance. This is a terrific time for young people and their instructors to learn more about the many facets to this industry and consider becoming more involved,” said Peter Donati, ABCO regional vice president.

Besides providing giveaways and refreshments, ABCO University Vocational Field Day activities will include an extensive line-up of HVACR manufacturers’ representatives to meet; a question-and-answer session with HVACR contractors from the area; and a tour of the ABCO Somerville supply house.
