Embraco announced that Luis Felipe Dau has been named the company’s new global president. Dau had been serving as vice president of business and marketing. Dau began his role as president on March 1.

Dau has devoted the last 10 years of his career to Embraco. He has held a number of managerial positions in several different regions of the world, including Brazil and China, serving as a plant director and general manager as well as vice president.

Dau will implement Embraco’s core mission to ensure business sustainability, strengthen leadership strategy, cultivate a better quality of life, and enhance customer relationships. He will continue to lead the team in research and development.
