NEW YORK — ATMOsphere America, a conference focusing on how natural refrigerants are being used in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems, returns for its fifth edition, June 16 and 17, at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
ATMOsphere America is expected to draw nearly 400 participants from over 150 companies, making the 2016 event the biggest to date. More than 30 sponsors, encompassing nearly every aspect of the cooling industry, are supporting the conference.
The event is scheduled this year just before two major food industry conference taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago — FMI Connect (June 20-23) and the Global Cold Chain Expo (June 20-22).
ATMOsphere America includes end user and supplier panels, policy and market trends sessions, case studies, workshops, as well as networking opportunities. The event will once again serve as a meeting place for HVACR industry experts to discuss the latest natural refrigerant market trends, regulatory issues, and technology developments in North America.
As the North American market for natural refrigerants such as carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and ammonia continues to evolve, so does the event. In addition to program staples such as the state of the industry and regulations and standards, this year’s program will also explore: reinventing ammonia refrigeration, increasing efficiencies in carbon dioxide refrigeration, using hydrocarbons as refrigerants, and more. In addition, the conference will include off-site end user visits and training sessions on the days before and after the event.
