On May 3, Finn Fastrup, the former head of Danfoss’ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning business, passed away in Nordborg, Denmark.
Fastrup joined Danfoss in 1964 and held various roles from design to technical support to sales and marketing before later serving as president of the company’s global Refrigeration and Air Conditioning business.
Fastrup retired in 2003 after 39 years with Danfoss, and went on to become a researcher at the Danfoss Museum in Denmark and contribute to a recent book launched in celebration of the 50-year history of the Danfoss T2 valve.
