Finn Fastrup, the former head of Danfoss’s refrigeration and air conditioning business, died May 3 in Nordborg, Denmark.
Fastrup joined Danfoss in 1964 and held various design, technical support, sales, and marketing roles. Fastrup later served as president of the company’s global refrigeration and air conditioning business.
Fastrup retired in 2003 after 39 years with Danfoss and went on to become a researcher at the Danfoss Museum in Denmark. He also contributed to a recent book launched in celebration of the 50-year history of Danfoss’s T2 valve.
