The Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a pre-publication Federal Register notice of final rule pertaining to energy efficiency standards for dehumidifiers.  (May 20, 2016). 

• The effective date of this rule is 60 days after publication in the Federal Register. Compliance with the amended standards established for dehumidifiers in this final rule is required on and after 3 years after publication in the Federal Register.
