Michael Matz of Mt. Kisco, New York, the son of Matco-Norca’s cofounder, died suddenly June 5 at the age of 44. Matz was the Eastern region sales manager for Matco-Norca and was employed for 20 years at his family’s company.

Matz was an active member of the Mt. Kisco Hebrew Congregation, where he served on the board. He is survived by his wife, Ilana; children, Evelyn and Leo; parents, Dov and Beth; sisters, Melissa and Nora and their families, Elliot, Owen, Madeline, and Mary; in-laws, Michael and Carol Maoz, Yarden, Samantha; and a large extended family.
