CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Armacell LLC has announced a new online educational resource for those who make, use, or install products made with expanded foam materials, including mechanical engineers and contractors, as well as foam fabricators and OEMs.
The new blog features articles targeted at the building construction trades as well as specifiers serving other industries. Visitors will encounter topics relevant to the application of elastomeric and polyolefin foams, including many examples of where and how these products are used.
Typical blog posts may include:
• Case studies
• Technical specification explanations
• Best practices for installations
• Suggested applications
“Armacell makes foam for so many uses that we wanted a venue for all our customers to learn more about the materials, their uses, or best practices,” said Joanna Beckman, Armacell’s marketing communications manager-Americas.
Most articles will be written by Armacell’s own in-house experts, but other industry-specific experts will guest blog from time to time.
“Our goal is to bring short, informative blog posts to our audience who specifies and uses expanded foams for insulation, acoustics, gaskets and seals, or for applications like sports fields and padding.”
