PEWAUKEE, Wis. — The Gustave A. Larson Co. recently celebrated the 27th anniversary of its supplier evaluation program, Partners in Excellence and Quality (PEAQ). An awards dinner was held at the Wisconsin City Club in Milwaukee on June 27 to honor the top five supplier winners for 2015. The PEAQ program was created out of the desire of Karl G. Larson to find a means to honor the partnership between the Gustave A. Larson Co. and its business partners. The companies honored were Advanced Distributor Products, Armacell LLC, Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, Nu-Calgon, and Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division.
“The companies and individual sales persons who are selected to win the PEAQ Award are chosen through an evaluation process that includes participation from every department and every region of the Gustave A. Larson Company,” said Herb Daugherty, director, inventory management and administrator of Gustave A. Larson Co.’s PEAQ program. “The primary goal of the PEAQ program is to help us find ways to work more closely with our supplier partners for the mutual benefit of our companies. The program has also helped us to identify strengths and weaknesses in the policies and procedures of our business partners. The program continues to be an important communication tool to our suppliers. The PEAQ program is reviewed regularly to make sure the areas that are being evaluated are still relevant and important to the mutual success of our business partners as well as the Gustave A. Larson Co. This was our 27th year for the Partners in Excellence and Quality Program and it remains an important part of our relationship with our suppliers.”
