ASHRAE (Atlanta) launched a multimillion dollar research program designed to establish a more robust fact base about the properties and use of flammable refrigerants.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) released an analysis of the U.S. Census Bureau reporting that nonresidential construction spending fell for a second consecutive month in August. Nonresidential spending totaled $686.6 billion on a seasonal adjusted, annualized basis for the month, which was 1.1 percent lower than July’s total of $694.1 billion, and 1.3 percent below August 2015’s figure.
