Description: This energy-efficient system protects roofs and gutters against ice dams and icicle buildup and reduces the risks of freezing and bursting within pipes. It is ideal for small roofs, porches, and overhangs as well as metal and plastic pipes. The cables can be overlapped without causing hotspots or burnouts, offer full performance at all times, and are available in eight pre-terminated lengths that may simply be plugged in to a 120-V outlet. Available as a plug-and-play system, this system works to prevent structural damage and unsafe environments that can occur as a result of snow accumulation. In addition, FrostGuard can be hardwired (240-V) and includes self-regulating technology to ensure heat is only emitted when and where it’s needed, which significantly reduces energy consumption and costs.
