LAS VEGAS — The Air Movement Control Association International (AMCA) opened the 2017 AHR Expo in Las Vegas by celebrating and recognizing the great strides that have been made by the association over the past century, while also keeping an eye on the future.
Past president Gary Benson, who recently passed away, was remembered at the conference.
“Gary was a great friend and champion of this industry,” said Mark Stevens, the executive director of AMCA Intl.
Stevens discussed the regulations and legislation facing HVAC, and how things are shifting constantly, with a need to be willing and able to adapt quickly.
“We celebrate 100 years, while also looking forward to the next 100,” continued Stevens. “AMCA will continue to grow.”
AMCA also unveiled a new logo and design for its website.
