Course Title: Residential Hydronics: Advanced Soup to Variable Speed Nuts

Sponsoring Organization: Taco Comfort Solutions

Dates: July 20-21 (Full/closed), Sept. 21-22, and October 19-20

Location: Cranston, Rhode Island

Course Description: In this intensive, hands-on, two-day course, John Barba, residential training manager, Taco Comfort Solutions, provides a real-world look at modern residential hydronic systems, teaching common-sense solutions to the challenges they face every day in the field. The course, which is offered once a month through October (excluding August), bypasses theory and the usual “what’s in the box” training to immerse installers in practical applications in the mechanical room and, of course, what actually happens when you install “what’s in the box.” Attendees will learn how to determine accurate heat loss and understand the universal hydronics formula. They will also learn circulator sizing, pipe sizing, air control, low-voltage wiring, and more.
