Leaders from five service contracting companies from the plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical industry joined contributing NEWS columnist Al Levi at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix on November 15-16, 2017 for The 7-Power Contractor® Build Your Operating Manuals Program Workshop.
The Build Your Operating Workshop guides leaders through how to fine tune and effectively roll out the full set of operating manuals and a variety of trade manuals Levi provides. A generous aftercare program is also provided to ensure students’ success.
“The workshop was great and the operating manuals will be a game changer for our company once implemented,” said Keith Pinkerton, president of Huntsville, Alabama-based Mr. Electric.
The Build Your Operating Manuals program provides contractors with integrated documentation for technician, customer service representative, dispatch service representative, as well as for accounts payable, accounts receivable. An employer-employee manual is also included. The base program offers one trade manual such as plumbing, heating and cooling, or electrical, but additional trade manuals can be purchased for a nominal fee.
“My mission is to help as many contracting firms as possible run their businesses with less stress and more success and there is nothing that can help them achieve that faster than implementing these operating manuals and making them part of the culture,” said Levi.
