ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. — Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) announced it will co-locate its 2018 annual conference with The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) Connect 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Oct. 9-12, 2018.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with PHCC for our annual conference in 2018,” said Lori Schiavo, RSES executive vice president. “Bringing HVACR professionals together in pursuit of education and training — be it on the business-management end or the hands-on spec, install, and repair end of the spectrum — is what needs to be happening on so many levels for the sake of this great industry.

“As RSES and PHCC partner on this conference, I believe we will see the positive effects of banding together,” Schiavo continued. “As we take joint responsibility for the quality and future of the HVACR industry, I believe there may be more opportunities arising from this partnership. I am proud to join forces with PHCC and share this like-minded vision.”

“PHCC tremendously values partnerships like this as we continue to strengthen the education and networking power of our association for our member contractors, including those involved in HVAC work,” said Laurie Crigler, PHCC president. “With workforce development a top priority, the timing of this collaboration couldn’t be better, with loads of potential for both groups to learn from each other on how to recruit and retain the next generation.”
