SCHOFIELD, Wis. - Greenheck was honored for being one of Wisconsin’s Top 10 Best Places to Work for Young Professionals at an awards presentation at the company on May 7. The Bubbler Award was presented by NEWaukee, a Milwaukee-based company that focuses on attracting and retaining talent in the state of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). Companies considered for this award were nominated by employees and rated by a panel from across the state on things such as: competitive compensation and benefit packages, opportunities for advancement, professional development programs, community engagement, and access to leadership. Greenheck has received the Bubbler Award for four consecutive years, the only company to achieve this accomplishment.
"The world of talent attraction and retention has changed dramatically. The standard offering isn't going to work with the next generation of talent,” said Angela Damiani, CEO of NEWaukee. “The Bubbler Awards recognize the Wisconsin companies that have made great advances in their ability to attract, keep and grow their young talent. We are proud to highlight companies like Greenheck that are truly among the best places to work for young professionals in Wisconsin."
“We are extremely proud and honored to again be a recipient of the Bubbler Award,” said Kathy Drengler, Greenheck vice president of human resources. “This is a testament to our ongoing efforts and investments to attract, develop and retain employees by creating a workplace environment that supports and encourages employee personal and professional growth through leadership and career development, training opportunities, special events and wellness programs.”
Tricia Braun, WEDC deputy secretary and chief operating officer noted, “Keeping the quality workforce that we’ve grown here in Wisconsin, as well as attracting workers from outside of the state, is vital for the future of our businesses and communities. Greenheck demonstrates the type of strong leadership that is needed to establish the state as an ideal workplace destination for young professionals. WEDC and its many partners, including the state’s young professionals’ groups, are working together to promote Wisconsin as a destination for business, personal and professional fulfillment. That’s why it’s important for us to celebrate companies like Greenheck, which is putting the Think-Make-Happen concept into action.”
