Emerson has announced leadership changes to its air conditioning business, naming Shane Angle as vice president, sales & technical services for its Commercial and Residential Solutions platform, effective immediately. Angle had previously served as Emerson’s vice president and general manager for the commercial air conditioning group.

“Shane is uniquely qualified to take on this significant role. His broad HVAC market and product experience, his strategic skills, and excellent interpersonal competencies will ensure our customers and partners receive the highest levels of support,” said Brent Schroeder group president of heating and air conditioning for Emerson’s Commercial and Residential Solutions platform.

Angle joined Emerson in 1995 and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in product engineering, engineering management, and leadership roles in product planning and marketing. Angle graduated from Kettering University, where he studied mechanical engineering. He has an MBA from the University of Dayton.

After 20 years as head of sales, HVAC Legend Award winner Karl Zellmer, will take on a new role supporting the company’s new market and technology growth initiatives. “We are fortunate to be able to leverage Karl’s decades of experience in this industry to engage our customers throughout the channel to commercialize key growth programs,” Schroeder said.
