New leadership will be in effect late this summer as Wolseley Cananda and Ferguson make changes to its staff.

BURLINGTON, Ontario - Wolseley Canada is making leadership changes that will be effective Aug. 1, 2013. Keith VanderVennet, currently the senior vice president of Wolseley Canada, is returning to Ferguson, Wolseley’s U.S. operations, in the role of senior vice president of sales.

Darcy Curran will succeed VanderVennet as senior vice president of Wolseley Canada. In this role, Curran will have full management and profit and loss responsibility over all facets of Wolseley Canada, including customer service, strategic planning and execution, as well as delivering on the company’s financial targets.

According to the company, VanderVennet has done a tremendous job in leading Wolseley Canada since 2007, and has established a solid foundation upon which his successor will build. Curran has been with Ferguson since 1987, and has been instrumental in integrating acquisitions, opening new locations and growing market share with existing businesses, said Wolseley.

“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to join Wolseley Canada,” said Curran. “I look forward to working with the talented Canadian team and helping this dynamic business to grow even stronger.” Curran will relocate to Burlington, Ontario, in mid-February to begin the transition.
