HARDI and JP Morgan are hosting the 2013 HVACR Market Update and Outlook webinar. This second annual report yields market information covering residential cooling and heating equipment. What are the economists saying?
COLUMBUS, Ohio - HARDI and JP Morgan will host a 2013 HVACR Market Update and Outlook webinar on Wed., March 27, at 11 a.m. EST.
The HVACR Market Update and Outlook webinar has become an annual online meeting following the success of the inaugural 2012 webinar. HARDI has embarked on a broader market forecasting initiative intended to cover residential cooling and heating equipment, along with increasing coverage of refrigeration and commercial products.
Several industry suppliers began the year with conservative low single-digit growth guidance for 2013 after a subdued 2012.
“After 2013 bolted out of the gate with a 19 percent gain, and upside surprises with the jobs data, along with strong consumer confidence numbers, maybe that guidance will prove to be too conservative,” said Brian Loftus, market research and benchmarking analyst, HARDI.
It is not uncommon for half of the industry’s first quarter sales to occur during the last month of the quarter, noted HARDI in a press release. A soft March would offset the strong January and confirm the initial outlook for 2013. According to Loftus, “The HARDI forecast team and JP Morgan have been eagerly slicing-and-dicing the data and having some great debates about the prospects. We are as eager to see the conclusions as many of our members.”
Any HARDI member company can register online for the 2013 HVACR Market Update and Outlook and full forecast package which includes an audio-visual recording of the live program and a printed 2013 HVACR Update and Outlook Report. The webinar package is free for HARDI distributors who currently contribute to the monthly T.R.E.N.D.S. report and Premier supplier members.
