NEW YORK — Michael Lamach, chairman and CEO of Ingersoll-Rand plc rang the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in celebration of two milestone anniversaries within the Ingersoll Rand family of brands. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Trane, a global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services, and the 75th anniversary of Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications.
