VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Cargo Logistics Canada (CLC) Expo & Conference launches the first annual Awards of Excellence breakfast on Jan. 28, at the Vancouver Convention Centre to recognize British Columbia’s most exceptional vendors and providers in logistics and distribution.

CLC Awards of Excellence will be presented in fourteen categories, including safety innovation, environmental sustainability, supply chain woman of the year, transportation providers, and distribution suppliers.

“It is important to recognize the accomplishments of local companies that are shaping the future of the supply chain industry,” said David Tyldesley, Informa Show Director. “Our hope is that the CLC Awards of Excellence, aside from recognizing the impact of thought-leaders in B.C., will also inspire other companies to strive for further excellence in the years to come."

CLC takes place for its second year at the Vancouver Convention Centre Jan. 28-29. The conference encompasses the entire cargo spectrum to address the needs of freight owners and movers. The conference also features 150 exhibitors, 100 speakers, and more than 30 seminars hosted by top-tier industry leaders. CLC expects more than 2,500 attendees, making it the largest supply chain event in Canada.

“Cargo Logistics Canada is not just a gathering but a launching pad, a think tank, a conversation starter,” said Tyldesley. “It’s a space where new ideas are cultivated, industry issues are unpacked, best practices are shared, and networks are made. CLC puts a face to Canada’s supply chain sector and motivates a culture of excellence and innovation."

CLC is produced by Informa, the largest publicly-owned organizer of conferences, expositions, and training events in the world, managing more than 140 trade and consumer events in over 40 countries.
