KANSAS CITY, Mo. — cfm Distributors, Inc., a 100 percent employee-owned HVAC distributor operating six branches in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa, has named Lauren Roberts president and CEO, effective Jan. 1st, 2018.
A third-generation leader of cfm Distributors, Lauren Roberts joined cfm Distributors Inc. in 2004 and has worked her way up through the company in various leadership roles for more than 13 years. She has spent the last several years focusing on leadership, company culture, talent development, and customer experience.
Lauren Roberts is passionate about giving back to the HVACR industry. She has held the role of marketing committee chair for Heating, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) for the last three years, was an active member of HARDI’s Emerging Leaders Task Force from 2013-2016, and is currently president-elect for HARDI's philanthropic HALO organization. She also serves as a board member for Women in HVACR, is a member of the York Distributor Advisory Council, the Source 1 Parts Advisory Council, and serves on HARDI’s Human Resources committee. She is a graduate of HARDI's Emerging Leaders Program and Branch Manager Certification Program. In 2015, Roberts was named to the ACHR NEWS’ Top 40 under 40 and HARDI's Top 40 under 40.
Additionally, cfm Distributors, Inc. has announced other key leadership changes. Effective December 11, 2017, Paul Flora and Paul Harms joined the cfm Distributors, Inc. board of directors, joining Tom Roberts, Lauren Roberts, and Phillip Martin. On Jan. 1, 2018, Tom Roberts will become chairman of the board of cfm Distributors Inc.
Effective Jan. 1, 2018, Phillip Martin has been promoted to the role of COO, and Brad Telker will serve as vice president of commercial sales, joining Paul Harms as vice president of residential sales.
Martin has worked for cfm Distributors for more than 13 years and has held roles in commercial sales, product management, and other various leadership roles. He is a past member of the HARDI Emerging Leaders Task Force, is the chair of the HARDI Residential Systems Sub-council, and is a member of the York Commercial Distributor Advisory Council. Martin is also a graduate of HARDI's Emerging Leaders Program. In 2015, Martin was named to HARDI’s Top 40 Under 40 list.
Telker has worked for cfm Distributors for 11 years, most recently holding the director of commercial products position. Telker is an active member of the HARDI Emerging Leaders Task Force, the York Commercial Distributor Advisory Council, and is a graduate of the HARDI Emerging Leaders Program. In 2015, Telker was named to the HARDI Top 40 Under 40 list.
