Tell us a little bit about the history of Airefco?

Hussa: Airefco was founded in 1957 as a do-it-all Carrier company. Early in the Airefco’s history, Carrier elected to pursue discreet distribution, and some of Airefco’s contracting employees broke off and started Airefco. The company eventually expanded into Oregon, western Washington, and Alaska. My father purchased the company in 1971, and Airefco took over the Carrier line in eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana in 1980. I joined the company in 1983. In 1987, we started Hadco Supply as a DBA of Airefco, which allowed us to get involved in the aftermarket business as well as take on the Bryant, Day & Night, and Payne brands once Carrier brought them into its portfolio. In 1994, I became president of Airefco. I worked very closely with my father for the next 12 years before he passed away. Then, I took over as CEO and purchased the company from the estate. The rest is history.
