Arkema Inc. (King of Prussia, Pennsylvania) invested in ACCA’s flammable refrigerant training programs.

The Halton Group (Helsinki) acquired LCSystems Inc. (Louisville, Kentucky) for slightly less than $4 million. The acquisition was completed June 30.

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC (Suwanee, Georgia) named Steve Scarbrough senior director of residential business. He will oversee HVAC contractor development and training activities as well as lead the inside sales team.

Ridgid Inc. (Elyria, Ohio), a business unit of Emerson (St. Louis), named Tim Dunphy marketing director of underground technologies. He will manage new product development, partner relations, and new business opportunities for the Ridgid line of diagnostics, inspection, locating, and drain cleaning products.

 

ORGANIZATIONS

ACCA is seeking nominations for the Service Manager of the Year award program. The deadline to submit nominations is Sept. 7. The award will be presented at the 2018 Service and Leadership Forum, Nov. 8-9, in Fort Worth, Texas.

National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals (OESP) named Ralph Adams, service manager of Parker Fuel Co. (Ellicott City, Maryland), president of its 2018-2020 board of directors.

Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Cleveland contributed $6,000 to the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) on its latest five-year $30,000 pledge. Its total contributions to date are $136,000.

 

FINANCIAL REPORT

Modine Mfg. Co. (Racine, Wisconsin) reported net sales of $566.1 million for its first quarter financial results, increasing 10 percent from 2017.
