OCEANSIDE, Calif. — RESNET announced Aprilaire as a new member of the RESNET Suppliers Advisory Board (SAB).

Aprilaire has been a trusted brand in the indoor air quality industry for more than 60 years. As a division of Research Products Corp., the company designs and manufactures whole-home indoor air quality products — partnering with HVAC contractors, distributors, and home builders to provide comfort, health, energy efficiency, and preservation of the home.

Being on the RESNET Suppliers Advisory Board is an opportunity for suppliers to have a voice and to benefit from the industry’s perspective.

"We’ve heard what they’ve said, and that’s how those product ideas evolve. I believe RESNET is one of the most valuable and influential organizations that we are a part of at Aprilaire.”

“Energy and water efficient product suppliers are key strategic partners to RESNET, playing a critical role in the improvement of the energy performance of homes,” said Steve Baden, executive director of RESNET. “Since the RESNET HERS Rating is product neutral, it is a whole house energy performance analysis that allows products to compete on a level playing field and hence hasten the introduction of new products into the marketplace.” 

Currently, there are 14 members of the RESNET Suppliers Advisory Board. RESNET SAB members receive a representative seat on the RESNET board of directors, a new annual supplier intelligence report of HERS ratings and homes data, and marketing and sales support (including participation on RESTalk) and complimentary sponsorship and expo space at the RESNET Building Performance Conference.
