NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical announced the promotion of Jimmy Hiller Jr. to COO.

Jimmy Hiller, Jr., an experienced leader with expansive industry experience, has grown alongside the company over the past 20 years. Beginning his training at an impressionable age, Hiller grew up sorting parts, riding along on calls with Jimmy Hiller Sr., and learning the business. During high school, he spent his free time on job sites, apprenticing from seasoned technicians and working long hours with his father.

Since joining the Hiller team full-time in 2010, Hiller has been an integral player in the company’s rapid annual growth and resulting successes. Beginning his career in sales, Hiller quickly became the top sales person across the business within his first year, achieving unprecedented results. As the business expanded through the acquisition of successful local businesses, Hiller served as the general manager and brand ambassador for these new locations. During his tenure at Hiller’s Murfreesboro location, he grew the business 350 percent, making it the most profitable location in under two years. In 2014, Hiller overhauled an acquisition in Columbia, Tennessee, transforming it from the least profitable location to the most profitable — a 216 percent growth — within the same year.

Most recently, Hiller served as both a member of the executive team and the general manager of the largest and most profitable branch of the business in Nashville, managing over 300 associates. Hiller oversaw multiple departments, including commercial services, recruiting and training, leadership development, and customer service management, which will remain under his management in his new role.

“We are thrilled to announce Jimmy’s promotion”, remarked Jimmy Hiller Sr., founder and CEO of Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical. “He has been training in this field throughout his life. Beginning at age 5, Jimmy would accompany me to jobs and learned the value of hard work, integrity, and dedication to quality. This experience, paired with a proven track record of success, make him the ideal hire for this position.”

Launched in 1990 in Antioch, Tennessee, with a single employee, Hiller has grown to include over 480 trucks, 15 locations, and more than 630 employees across the southeast. Hiller has tripled its revenue over the past five years, reporting 2017 annual revenues over $98 million.
